At City Surf Project, we believe the ocean should belong to everyone.

Every year, we provide surf instruction, mentorship, leadership development, and transformative outdoor experiences to young people across San Francisco. Through the power of surfing, we help youth build confidence, community, resilience, and a lifelong connection to the ocean.

We're looking for a strategic, relationship driven Development Director to help lead our next chapter of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves building partnerships, connecting people to meaningful causes, and creating sustainable revenue strategies that make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

  • Lead City Surf Project's fundraising and revenue strategy

  • Cultivate major donors and corporate partnerships

  • Oversee fundraising campaigns, events, and donor stewardship

  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to drive long term sustainability

  • Help grow a mission driven organization creating tangible impact in the lives of Bay Area youth

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with experience in nonprofit fundraising, business development, donor relations, or partnership management who is excited to build relationships and help expand access to the ocean for the next generation.

Position Details

Location: Hybrid, San Francisco Bay Area
Schedule: Full Time
Salary: $105,000–$115,000 DOE
Reports To: Executive Director
