About
Our Mission
We ensure Bay Area youth have equitable access to the ocean through surf instruction.
We use surfing as a vehicle to improve the health and well being of our youth and to engage them with our four core pillars.
Our Impact
We have connected 2,000+ youth to the ocean.
We have gone on over 400 surf outings to the beach. For 80% of our youth their first experience with the ocean is with CSP.

Our Core Pillars
All of our programs are founded on our four core pillars.

Healthy Living
We inspire youth to take pride in themselves and adopt a healthy lifestyle

Personal Growth
We challenge youth to step outside their comfort zone and expand their boundaries

Appreciation for Nature
We promote environmental education and challenge youth to be active global citizens

EQUITY IN SURFING
We ensure Bay Area youth have equitable access to surfing and the ocean.
Who We Serve
We serve five districts in San Francisco –
Bayview, Mission, Excelsior, Sunset, and Fillmore.
Lack of social services and strong partner organizations all play a part in where we choose to work. We focus on providing youth with their first exposure to the ocean.
